abandoned farmhouse near Pine Bluff Wyoming
I drove 2 days to Wyoming, for this photo. Not because I knew this house was there, but because I knew that once I got north of Denver, if I got off the main roads and drove through wheat fields I'd find this.
I was chased by a storm for hours and as it was getting late in the day I kept my eye out for a subject where the low light and the storm clouds would converge to give me the image I wanted. I crested a hill saw this house from a mile away and knew it was 'the one'. Pelted by raindrops and hoping the lightening would find better targets than me I only had time to plant my tripod in a couple of locations before the storm got close and drove me back to my truck.
