The Palouse is not just a destination for its colorful landscape. Old barns and farm houses dot the landscape and just beg to be seen in black and white. For me, this barn was all about the crows. I saw them sitting on the peak of the roof but as I got close to the barn I spooked them and they flew away. I waited for the light to improve, found my spot for the composition I wanted, and waited for the mysterious birds to come back.
